Sports Achievements

ATME College of Engineering has made a special impact in the field of sports both in the VTU level as well as State Level tournaments, following are the major achievements of ATME College of Engineering:

• ATME college of Engineering received the VTU MERITORIOUS INSTITUTIONS Cash award of 1 lakh for Sport& cultural Achievement for the academic year 2019-2020 for the second time.
• 05 Students have represented National Teams in various sports like Cricket & Handball.
• More than 50 students of ATMECE represented (VTU) University teams at the Inter University Sports & Games championship since 2012.
• More than 15 Students have received cash award while representing the University Teams.
• Softball Men Team Secured 1^st Place in VTU Inter Collegiate Rest of B’lore Zone Softball Championship 2018-19 Organized by SJMIT, Chitradurga. (5^th Time in Succession).
• Abhijith of 3^rd year me secured Gold medal (79kg category) in 20^th VTU inter-collegiate wrestling competition 2019-20 held at SJCIT, Chikballapura.
• Pavan V of 4^th year ME clinched the Title Mr. ICESM in 2^nd Mysuru region inter-collegiate engineering college sports meet Best Physique competition 2019-20 organized by JSS STU, Mysuru.
• College Soft Ball Men Team secured 1^stplace in Mysore City Inter-Collegiate Soft Ball Tournament organized by the University of Mysore.
• Pavan V of 4^th year ME secured Gold medal (up to 80kg category) in ICESM inter collegiate Best Physique championship 2019-20 organized by JSS S&TU, Mysuru.
• College Chess Men Team secured 2^ndplace in Mysore City Inter-Collegiate Chess Championship 2021-22 organized by the Hindustan FGC, Mysuru.
• College Best Physique team secured runners-up in ICESM inter collegiate Best Physique championship 2019-20 organized by JSS STU, Mysuru.
• College Soft Ball Women Team secured 2^ndplace in Mysore City Inter-Collegiate Soft Ball Tournament organized by the University of Mysore.
• College Hand Ball Team won the 1^stplace in VTU Mysuru Zone Inter-Collegiate Hand Ball Tournament for Men organized by SJCE, Mysuru.
• Throwball Women team secured 2^ndplace in VTU Intercollegiate Mysuru Zone Throwball Championship 2018-19 organized by GSSSIETW, Mysuru.
• College Hand Ball Team secured 2^ndplace in VTU Rest of Bangalore Zone Inter-Collegiate Handball Tournament for Women held at JNNCE, Shimoga.
• Soft Ball Men Team secured 3^rdplace in VTU Inter-Zone Inter-Collegiate Soft Ball Championship 2018-19 organized by SJMIT, Chitradurga. (2^thtime in succession)
